Sometimes it feels like we’re living in fast-forward—every week a new AI tool drops, a new capability appears, and I catch myself thinking: “Will I ever keep up with all this?”
Then I remember: I don’t need to master everything; I just need the pieces that genuinely change how I work. Some compare this moment to the arrival of personal computers. Others say it’s deeper—like when electricity reached our walls and the first power sockets appeared. Today we have a new socket—for intellectual energy. The only question is: what will we plug into it?
I built this professional website with two AI tools—ChatGPT and Grok. It took a few weekends, roughly 30 hours end-to-end. That includes both the code and the design. I’d never written HTML before; I’m more of an advanced user than a programmer—but with AI, I could assemble the whole thing from scratch.
I’ve worked with web agencies before, but this felt completely different: no endless briefs, no communication noise, no waiting. Faster, smoother, and—honestly—cheaper. The entire project cost about €60–70 (tool subscriptions). The feeling? Like a ×10 acceleration.
Because the knowledge and the tools are right in front of us. You don’t have to be a developer or a designer—just plug your idea into the socket and start. This is version one, not perfect in every pixel, but it’s mine—and it was made in a new way, with AI.
On the site I mapped my professional path from university to today. This year marks ten years of experience, and it feels like a new, golden chapter is beginning. I wanted to mark it with something tangible.
I’d love your thoughts: how do you like this small AI experiment? 🙂
